Starting a small business comes with plenty of ‘oh my gosh, what am I doing’ moments, but when we interact with a client at the markets and they’re like um wow, can you make this in my size too, I know we’re doing something right.Īny places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? We have faced plenty of challenges, though, and have learned that number one, relationships are everything. We started the business during covid so it definitely was not easy, but also gave us more time at home to develop and fine tune our ideas and business strategies. When Ugonna and I would go to shop for Tiger everything felt the same and expected. We saw this opportunity in the industry to offer streetwear for kids at a price point that isn’t designer but is also quality and cool. Everything is gender neutral so all pieces can be passed down and reused for years. I’m very inspired by graphic design and interesting color combinations, both retro and current. Well here we are, but I absolutely love seeing my visions come to life.

I definitely never thought that I would be designing, that’s for sure. I have been working in the fashion industry my entire career and love the creative side that it offers. Our tagline is that we make kids clothes that adults want to wear, and I can definitely say I want one of everything we have made.Īlright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more? We love streetwear and saw an opportunity to bring this to the industry of children’s clothing, with our own spin on it. Not that anything is wrong with them, just not our style. My husband and I both love fashion, and when we had our little girl we were set on never letting her wear a sparkly unicorn dress.
